Philip Kirkland currently serves as CEO of PK Kirk Electrical & Telecom – a regional telecom infrastructure service provider specializing in upgrades, antenna modifications, and small cell solutions for telecom carriers in the western regions of the US.
After earning a Journeyman Electrician Certification from the IBEW Local 340 Sacramento in 1989, Philip worked as a Journeyman Electrician from 1989 to 1996 , as the Foreman on the NEC chip plant in Roseville, California. Fremont Medical Center in Yuba City, Folsom Prison, Apple Computer in Elk Grove, California and the Sutter Cancer Center in Sacramento, California.
In 1997 Philip obtained a general electrical contractor C 10 license, and became the leader in energy management systems, working with fortune 500 companies Honeywell, Trane, and Siemens. Philip completed special projects, GTE Data Storage Center, Reynolds Aluminum, Campbell Soup, University of California, Davis campus, COSTCO, Frito Lay, Travis & Beale AFB, Gold Country Casino, Modesto Memorial Hospital and Methodist Hospital in Sacramento.
2016 Philip formed D P Telecom and supervised the installations of technology upgrades and antenna modifications for Verizon Inc. AT&T.
March, 2012 Philip and his wife started Love My Life, Inc. a 501c (3) non-profit organization made up of volunteers from various areas of Sacramento and Elk Grove CA. He saw the need to help homeless underserved youth, men and women struggling to survive in violent communities by providing job training.
Philip currently resides in Elk Grove, California with his wife Kowjuana of 37 years and their two children.
